At the beginning of the series we find Bulma has changed little since her last adventure. Arrogant and short-tempered, the blue-haired genius still maintains her on-again, off-again relationship with Yamcha.
During the three years before the androids, she and Vegeta begin a "relationship", their son Trunks being the result. Bulma matures greatly after his birth and manages around Vegeta's training schedule until the ouji returns for good after the Cell games.
Whether or not the two get married is never said, but by the end of the series it is obvious they are in love. This is later cemented by the birth of their second child, Bra.
