Raised in a world ravaged by the jinzouningen, mirai no Trunks has had a difficult life. Growing up under the constant devastation with only his mother Bulma and sensei Gohan, he was groomed to be a warrior from a very early age. Though it is never said "when" he began training, it is clear he has been doing so for a few years before Gohan's death. (This tragedy being the key to his first super saiya-jin transformation.) Due to an isolated upbringing, Trunks is shy and quiet in social situations and can be easily embaressed or flustered. Battle is an entirely different situation. In combat Trunks is ruthless and efficient, the arrogant saiya-jin nature fully in charge. Despite never knowing his father growing up, Trunks shares many of his father's traits, including the impulsive urge to "shoot before everyone is clear" problem. Too mature for his years, he has well-earned the right to live in peace.
